Mountain Hut Sonnalm

The Sonnalm mountain hut Sonnalm 1300m above the sea level (only 50m beneath the Schlittenstadl) is a well known hiking destination during the summer season. The whole area offers sensational panorama views and a natural surrounding in the Zillertal alps. Far away from any crowds... Pure nature!

A proper hiking snack and a refreshing drink will revitalize each hiker in a matter of seconds.

On our sun terrace you can enjoy an astonishing view. Full of quietness you wonder about the beautiful landscape with all it's peaks.

The children's playground on the other side offers action and fun for all kids. Slide, swing, etc. - it will never get boring.

Several starting points for hikings include the Ramsberg lift and the Gerlosstein cable car (bottom and top station).

As already mentioned the area is well known for its terrific hiking routes during the summer season. More than 400km of paths all along the Zillertal Arena. Sometimes even named "Hiking Arena".
